turkey mince)

1 Tbsp plain flour (49p 1.5kg Aldi) = 1p
225mls Beef Stock with all purpose seasoning added (20p for 10 Tesco ) = 3p
2 Carrots Finely chopped (79p 1kg Aldi) = 10p
Few splashes of Worcester sauce
600g potatoes (7.5 kg £2.00 FF) = 12p
Grand total for a huge pie = £2.25
Serve with 200g Peas (1kg 99p Aldi) = 20p
TOTAL £2.45
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Fry onion and Garlic in a little oil (or water as I do) when lightly browned add the meat .Add the chopped carrots and season well. Stir in the flour(when the meat is browned) and add stock then stir until thickened . Add a few splashes of Worcs sauce ( Optional - but makes it really tasty) Transfer to an ovenproof casserole dish / tin and cook for 1hour.
Boil the potatoes and make mash - after and hour put the mash on the meat mixture and a sprinkle of cheese ( optional) and increase to 200 degrees then cook for another 20minutes until the top is golden. Heat the peas and serve when cooked with the cottage pie...
Then
ENJOY!!!!!!
