Corned Beef Hash.
Ingredients :
500 g old potatoes (13P) from the 7.5kg bag Farmfoods
1 onion (11P) bag of 7 = 79p (ALDI)
Stock pot 25p 4 for £1.00 (Home Bargains)
Tin of Corned beef £1.49 (ALDI)
(Total cost £1.97 - for 4) Optional tin of baked beans 18p Aldi
Method :
cube the corned beef and chop the onion, Lightly sautee the onion in a little oil then when lightly browned add the corned beef. (I fried them together and the onions were a little underdone) Brown them both together then add to a bowl.
Cube the potatoes and add to boiling water with the stockpot - boil until soft then mash - adding a stockpot / a little butter and
milk. Place the mash on the corned beef/onion or if you prefer mix it together then sprinkle a little grated cheese and brown under the grill.
