Low Fat Chicken Chasseur with new potatoes.
Ingredients:
1 onion chopped (1.5 kg 79p FF) = 5p
400g chicken breasts cut into 4 pieces (5kg £15.00 FF) = £1.20
2 garlic cloves (39p 4 bulbs FF) = 2p
1 tbsp plain flour (1.5kg 45p Aldi) = 2p
3 tbsp dry wine (750ml Baron St Jean £2.99 Aldi) = 25p
1 tin chopped tomatoes (31p Aldi) = 31p
1 tbsp tarragon (70p 31g Asda) = 10p
115g mushrooms (66p 500g FF) = 15p
200ml chicken stock and a/p seasoning = 3p
400g salad potatoes (59p 1 kg Aldi) = 23p
100g peas (1kg 99p Aldi) = 10p

Method:
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
Fry the onion in a little water , season the chicken on both sides and then remove from the pan and place in an ovenproof dish. Add the chopped garlic and add 2 tbsps stock to the pan – stir in the flour and gradually add the stock, wine and the tomatoes – stir continuously.
Add the tarragon and mushrooms and bring to the boil – pour over the chicken and cover with a lid or tin foil. Place in the oven and cook for 30-35 minutes – until the chicken is cooked through. Serve with the boiled new potatoes and peas.
